Reese Witherspoon teases Oscars 2021 is 'incredibly different' as she gears up to present award

Reese Witherspoon has teased her fans with what the Oscars 2021 ceremony will look like, noting things look different this year.

The Legally Blonde star, who is presenting an award, took to her Instagram account on Sunday night to share a video of herself talking about the evening's awards do.

She said she had been to the rehearsals for The Academy Awards on Saturday night and said the ceremony will be "incredibly different" this year.

Filming herself in an Oscars branded hoodie and no makeup, Reese said: "Morning everybody! I'm excited because I'm presenting at the Oscars tonight.

"Are you gonna watch?

"I hope you watch because I went to rehearsals yesterday and it's so incredibly different.

"I can't wait to hear what you guys think.

"I'm really excited for the nominees and I'm excited to be going somewhere in person!"

Reese joins a whole host of celebrities presenting an award.

Brad Pitt, Renee Zellweger, Halle Berry, Joaquin Phoenix, Zendaya, Regina King, Laura Dern, Angela Bassett, Don Cheadle, Harrison Ford, Rita Moreno, Marlee Matlin,Bryan Cranston and Bong Joon Ho will also hand out the coveted gongs.

The Oscars takes place on Sunday and it will be an in-person, live show.

All attendees at this year's ceremony have reportedly been asked to take at least three Covid-19 tests before the ceremony.

Everyone's temperatures will be taken upon attendance, it's claimed.

While it's reported that guests will be expected to wear masks during advert breaks, those appearing on camera will not have to wear one at that time.
