Reese Witherspoon’s healthy breakfast smoothie (recipe inside)

Reese Witherspoon is one of Hollywood's most successful actors and producers. At 46, besides being a mom of three, she still manages to look 25. The secret - well... comes as no surprise - lies in her diet and healthy lifestyle choices. The actor-producer regularly posts pictures and videos of her fun self and gives us a glimpse of what she does from time to time. During the peak of the pandemic, she took to Instagram and shared a video of herself making her favourite breakfast smoothie.

She reveals that she drinks the smoothie "every single day - probably for 8-9 years."

"It has a lot of vegetables in it, so I have this instead of breakfast. I have it around 10 or 11 o' clock in the morning and I am not hungry at all until 1 o'clock," she shares.

The Green Smoothie recipe

Ingredients:

- 2 heads romaine lettuce

How to prepare:

Step 1: Chop the lettuce and wash and drain it before adding it to the blender. Then, add the spinach, coconut water, banana, apple, pear, lemon and other optional ingredients into the blender. Remember: Core the apple and pear and cut the rind off the lemon.

Step 2: Blend all the ingredients together and make a smoothie. You can blend it as long as it reaches the consistency you want. Aim for smooth and creamy.

Step 3: Put some ice cubes into a glass and pour in the green smoothie.

Step 4: Note: You can add some chopped celery and almond butter if you want.
