Reece James gives Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi verdict as ideal Chelsea teammate named

Reece James has given his verdict on who is better: Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi? The 22-year-old defender answered the most controversial question in football via a Twitter Q&A.

His admission comes at the peak of speculation regarding Ronaldo's and Messi's respective future endeavours. The former Manchester United striker recently became a free agent after the Red Devils announced that he has left the club with immediate effect.

Ronaldo and Drogba in their respective primes and combining in a two-man strike partnership while James delivers crosses into the box would have been a force to be reckoned with at the highest level. Unfortunately, fans will be unable to see the Chelsea defender share the pitch with Drogba away from a charity game.

But, with the former United striker a free agent, it remains a possibility that James does so with Ronaldo...
