News of David Zappacosta's imminent move to AS Roma has got Chelsea supporters talking.
According to Sky in Italy, the right-back - signed from Torino in the 2017 summer transfer window - will undergo a medical later in the week to complete his return to Italy.
This is great news for one Blues youngster in particular.
Reece James enjoyed a superb loan spell with Wigan Athletic last season and there have been calls for him to move up the pecking order at Stamford Bridge, something that looks to becoming a reality.
And he could soon be providing strong competition to Cesar Azpilicueta.
Currently sidelined through injury, James has recently stated it would be his dream to play for the club he supports.
"At the end of the day, if you’re a footballer, your job is to play," James told The Independent . "I would always prefer to play than sit around.
"If I’m not, I’m not going to be happy, but there are certain situations where you have to be patient.
"Frank Lampard is a club legend; he’s someone I’ve always looked up to. If a manager believes in youth and believes in you then, eventually, you know the chance will come.
"Ever since I’ve been at Chelsea, my dream has been to become a first-team player.
"This is the team I support.
"This has always been my dream: to make my debut for Chelsea. The dream I had when I first played for the club as a youngster. I'm more motivated than I’ve ever been…and I’d like to think I never take a step back."
With Zappacosta on the way out, the door is open for James to make an impact once he returns to full fitness.
A prospect which has delighted many Chelsea fans on social media.
