Reece James and the four other Chelsea wonderkids joining the first team for Boston friendly

Chelsea are set to fly out to Boston this morning for a post-season friendly with New England Revolution and five Blues youngsters have joined them on the trip.

One of them is Reece James who had a stunning season with Wigan Athletic on loan this season and is set to be a part of Maurizio Sarri's plans for next season.

This will give the Italian head coach a really good chance to take a look at the 19-year-old and to see what he can bring to the club next season.

Another is Trevoh Chalobah, who himself was also out on loan but at Ipswich Town, who were relegated from the Championship after a difficult campaign.

Meanwhile, Chelsea Academy Player of the Year Conor Gallagher has also travelled to America to join the first team. The 19-year-old impressed in both the UEFA Youth League and for the U23s this season, while he was registered in the Europa League for Chelsea's final group stage match, however did not feature.

Marc Guehi was on the bench for Chelsea yesterday in the 0-0 Premier League draw at Leicester City, however the centre-back did not get a chance to take the field.

Like Gallagher, Guehi was part of the England U17s squad that went on to win the World Cup in India.

The other youngster on the list is Ike Ugbo. The striker was prolific at youth level, however the 20-year-old struggled in loan spells at Barnsley, MK Dons and Scunthorpe United.

The Blues are playing the New England Revolution as part of their campaign 'Say no to Antisemitism', with the match being called the 'Final Whistle on Hate.'
