Reduced price on 'luxury' apartment with Liver Building views

An apartment has come on the market in Liverpool that boasts ‘stunning’ views of one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

The two bedroom property, on Water Street, sits almost directly opposite the Strand and the Three Graces.

Found in the ‘prestigious and historical’ Tower Building, the apartment looks over the Liver Building and the waterfront.

It’s currently listed with Purplebricks and was reduced recently to £420,000, on October 2, according to Rightmove.

Rightmove states that properties overall in Liverpool city centre had an overall average price of £179,530 over the last year.

The majority of sales in Liverpool City Centre during the last year were flats, selling for an average price of £164,377.

While terraced properties sold for an average of £397,875, with semi-detached properties fetching £254,106.

However the Strand is a particular part of Liverpool’s waterfront that is bound to have prices higher than the wider city centre average.

Prices in this area are more expensive due to its proximity to the Three Graces, waterfront and Albert Dock.

Rightmove information from the last five years shows the average price of flats on or near the Strand is £215,969.

Sold prices for flats ranged from £190,000 to £382,000.

While just over the road on the Albert Dock, flats had an average of £346,793 in the last five years.

Sold prices in this area included £407,500, £547,000 and £307,000 most recently.

Images of the property show that the property has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a large open plan living space.

The 36ft living area is made up of a kitchen with white granite work tops, wall and base units, built in appliances and breakfast bar.

This area boasts huge bay windows overlooking the front aspect with a view of the clock and world famous Liver Birds and the cruise ship terminal.

Overall the apartment has been decorated modern but it still features some period detailing in the building.

The property also has a secure car parking space underneath the building with easy drive in and park access.
