Redskins waive Jylan Ware

The Washington Redskins didn’t take long to turn around and make another roster move after waiving two players and adding two more recently.

Thursday, the Redskins decided to waive offensive tackle Jylan Ware, who was one of the two added earlier in the week.

Ware’s short stay is an interesting one considering the upside he appears to present on the field. He was a seventh-round pick by Oakland in 2017 after turning some heads in workouts after a strong stint at Alabama State.

The small move here means the Redskins have an open spot and will perhaps seek out depth once again for the offensive line. The coaching staff has to worry about getting through the summer, though upside capable of actually challenging for spots is clearly a priority based on the recent moves.
