With the 131st pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Washington Redskins selected Indiana OL Wes Martin.
The Redskins had major needs on the offensive line coming into the draft, and after taking some big-named prospects in the early rounds, Washington finally got around to putting some meat on the bone with their second pick in the fourth round.
Martin played in 50 games at the University of Indiana, where he spent 24 games as a team captain for the Hoosiers. He stands at 6’3″ and 315 pounds.
It is expected that Martin will compete with Ereck Flowers at the left guard position in the 2019 season.
