Redskins sign rookie OT Blake Hance

The Washington Redskins have made another addition to the offensive line, signing tackle Blake Hance on Monday.

Hance was previously cut by the Buffalo Bills on May 22.

Hance earned academic honors with Northwestern in 2018, but was signed by the Bills as an undrafted rookie free agent in April. Throughout his career in college, he moved around the offensive line, while starting 30 games at the left tackle position.

The Redskins have played Trent Williams at the LT position recently, and offensive lineman Ereck Flowers was also brought in to help shore up the position. If Hance can find his footing and eventually make the 53-man roster, he will have a chance to battle it out for playing time with Wes Martin.
