The Washington Redskins made some roster moves on Monday morning, signing CB Simeon Shomas off of the Seattle Seahawks practice squad and adding him to the 53-man roster.
Thomas, who was drafted in the sixth round in 2018, was relegated to the practice squad for two years in Seattle, but the Redskins saw something they liked.
The Washington secondary is not lacking for skill, but cornerback Fabian Moreau has been dealing with a foot injury since the preseason, so this could point towards his timetable and hint that he isn’t expected to return as soon as many thought.
