The Washington Redskins prepped for life without Reuben Foster in the middle of the defense today by sending him to injured reserve.
In a complementary move, the Redskins signed free agent Jon Bostic.
The Redskins didn’t have a better option given the circumstances after Foster went down right at the start of OTAs. He left the field on a cart and initial reports suggested he tore an ACL.
Now, it looks like it could be more than just an ACL, too, with NBC Sports Washington’s JP Finlay reporting the team is worried about additional damage.
Hence the Redskins not wasting any time in making this move and bringing aboard Bostic. He’s at least competition for the other inside spot next to Mason Foster, though Shaun Dion Hamilton and others have a chance at it, too.
