Redskins select North Carolina State WR Kelvin Harmon in sixth round

The Washington Redskins used one of their final picks in the 2019 NFL draft on North Carolina State wide receiver Kelvin Harmon.

Harmon is a bigger target at 6’2″ and 221 pounds and enters the NFL after consecutive 1,000-yard campaigns and 11 touchdowns over that span.

While the Redskins already got some help at wideout in the form of Dwayne Haskins’ Ohio State teammate Terry McLaurin, Harmon is another piece to the offensive puzzle.

With so many swings and misses at wideout recently, the Redskins took a quantity approach here in the hopes something will emerge from a depth chart with plenty of names.

Given his ability to play big and move chains, Harmon could end up looking like a steal.
