Redskins rookie RB Bryce Love to have an additional surgery on his knee

It looks like the Washington Redskins rookie running back Bryce Love will have another surgery on his knee, as he hopes to come back from an original knee surgery that he underwent before being drafted.

Love, who was a standout player in college at Stanford, was drafted earlier this year by the Redskins, who are hoping to pair him with Derrius Guice in the future to create a dynamic tandem at the position. Before returning to school for his senior season, Love was a finalist for the Heisman trophy and likely would have been a first-round draft pick had he not decided to return for his senior season.

It was never expected that Love would take the field during his rookie year, and Washington is likely aiming for his return to happen sometime this offseason, getting him primed and ready to go by 2020.
