Redskins release RB Craig Reynolds to make room for Derrius Guice

The Washington Redskins made some roster moves on Tuesday afternoon, releasing running back Craig Reynolds as they prepare to bring back second-year RB Derrius Guice over the next week as he gets set to return from the Injured Reserve.

Guice was set to have a big year in 2019 until he tore his meniscus in the first game of the season and was sent to the IR with a designation to return. Reynolds was signed by the team, but he took zero offensive snaps this season and played 28 snaps on special teams.

All reports out of Washington are that Guice has been practicing as of late and looking strong, and he should be set to go in Week 11 when the Redskins play the New York Giants.
