Redskins QB Case Keenum using 2017 NFC title game as motivation for week 1 vs. Eagles

Case Keenum is returning to the scene of his greatest heartbreak and the Washington Redskins starting quarterback is channeling that pain to prepare for the season opener. Keenum and the Redskins will visit Lincoln Financial Field on September 8, in the season and home opener for the Philadelphia Eagles.

For Keenum, the feeling from his 2017 NFC title game loss will be the fuel that helps him prepare to face the Eagles once again.

Keenum has only made one career start vs the Eagles, that NFC Title Game from January 2018, where Philadelphia advanced to the Super Bowl after a 38-7 victory.

In that game, Keenum passed for 271 yards, one touchdown, 2 interceptions one fumble and he was sacked once as well.
