Redskins projected to have one of NFL’s worst records in 2019

The Washington Redskins have a tough schedule in 2019, to say the least.

The official release says it all: Washington starts on the road against the Philadephia Eagles and then has to turn around and host Dallas and Chicago. Later, the Redskins close the season with a game against Green Bay before three more NFC East contests.

According to new projections from Mike Clay at ESPN, the Redskins only have a better than 50 percent chance to win two games next season.

Those games are Week 6 at the Miami Dolphins and Week 16 against the New York Giants.

The worst percentage is a 13 percent chance to win in Week 1. Week 14 at Green Bay comes close at 14 percent. Week 8 at Minnesota is right there at 15 percent.

Given the questions at quarterback, it makes sense projections wouldn’t look favorably on the Redskins. Here’s a full look at the projections chart:
