The Washington Redskins have decided to make a few alterations to the roster coming out of rookie minicamp.
According to a release from the team, the Redskins waived the following players:
- RB Russell Hansbrough
- DB Joshua Holsey
- T Roubbens Joseph
The Redskins also added five undrafted free agents:
- DE Jonathan Bonner
- G Jerald Foster
- DB Deion Harris
- DL Austin Maloata
- RB Craig Reynolds
It’s interesting to see Holsey cut loose given his upside. He was a seventh-round pick in 2017 but missed four games as a rookie and 15 more last season.
Reynolds is the biggest name of the UDFAs, as he’s a solid one-cut runner who should add even more competition to what is arguably the team’s best position outright.
