Redskins’ Jordan Reed, Chase Roullier out vs. Giants

The New York Giants will be without two key linebackers when they take on the Washington Redskins this Sunday at MetLife Stadium, but they aren’t the only team that’s hurting a little.

The Redskins announced on Friday night that although quarterback Case Keenum (foot) will play in Week 4, they will be without starting tight end Jordan Reed (concussion) and starting center Chase Roullier (knee).

In place of Reed, long-time NFL veteran Vernon Davis will likely earn the start, while Roullier is expected to be replaced by Tony Bergstrom.

Meanwhile, starting right guard Brandon Scherff, who did not practice this week due to a lingering ankle injury, is listed as questionable and is expected to be a game-time decision.

But perhaps Washington’s biggest scare comes by way of wide receiver Terry McLaurin, who suffered a hamstring injury early in the week. He was limited in practice on Thursday and was unable to participate on Friday. The team has listed him as questionable and like Scheff, is expected to be a game-time decision.

If Scherff is unable to go, Wes Martin will likely step up and get the start, while Kelvin Harmon would be the man in line to take some of McLaurin’s targets.
