Redskins hopeful Chase Roullier or Brandon Scherff can go in Week 4

The Washington Redskins are looking at a brutal situation in Week 4 if they can’t get their offensive line healthy.

Guard Brandon Scherff and center Chase Roullier are both dealing with injuries coming out of the team’s Week 3 loss to the Chicago Bears on Monday night.

On a short turnaround, Gruden is just hoping at least one of those guys can go, per JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington: “Gruden hoping that ‘at least one’ of Scherff and/or Roullier can play Sunday. Losing either is a big deal.”

Indeed, considering Scherff is one of the best in the league at what he does and Roullier has been a big find for them in the middle of the line.

Considering the running game is averaging 2.8 yards per carry and it might not even be Case Keenum out there at quarterback in Week 4, the Redskins would especially like to keep two of their best line players active if possible.

Keep this one in mind while most of the attention goes to the quarterback position this week.
