Redskins grab Chase Young in new 2020 NFL mock draft

It’s hard to get a read on what the Washington Redskins might do in the 2020 NFL draft.

Other than quarterback, everything seems up for grabs for a Redskins team that might be picking rather high next season.

Over at Draft Wire, Luke Easterling has the Redskins grabbing Ohio State’s Chase Young second overall.

The Redskins might have drafted Montez Sweat last year but this is one of the easiest decisions they could ever have on draft day — Young is that good.

An edge rusher with seemingly unlimited ability to get after quarterbacks, some, such as Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller, think he would have even been the best in last year’s class too:

Adding Young with a rush already featuring Ryan Kerrigan and Sweat is one way to counteract the strong NFC East offenses and gives the Redskins another building block opposite Dwayne Haskins.

While the season is far from over, it’s hard not to like the idea.
