Redskins earn top NFC East draft grades from NFL Network

Let NFL Network tell it, nobody did it better than the Washington Redskins during the draft in the NFC East.

In the video above, the Redskins get a flat “A” mark while rest of the NFC East only sits in the “B” range.

Which makes plenty of sense, of course. The Redskins got Dwayne Haskins at No. 15, then moved back up for Montez Sweat at No. 26. Terry McLaurin in the third round could help solve one of the roster’s biggest problems and it’s hard to complain about the value of a former Heisman Trophy contender with Bryce Love in the fourth round. Don’t forget multiple draft picks addressing the offensive line, either.

By comparison, Philadelphia only made five picks but did land offensive tackle Andre Dillard in Round 1. Dallas didn’t pick until the second round and went with defensive lineman Trysten Hill. New York stirred up controversy with Daniel Jones at No. 6, then followed with defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence at No. 17.

Not bad classes by any means — but not close to what the Redskins accomplished either, something experts continue to point out.
