Redskins sign former AAF quarterback Josh Woodrum

The Washington Redskins have added yet another former Alliance of American Football player, signing quarterback Josh Woodrum.

Woodrum went undrafted out of Liberty in 2016 and spent some time with the Baltimore Ravens and a handful of others before heading to the AAF. There, he joined the Salt Lake Stallions but ended up throwing more interceptions than touchdowns before the league folded.

Other former AAF players the Redskins have signed are linebackers Andrew Arkush and DeMarquis Gates, as well as guard Salesi Uatefe.

The latest, Woodrum, gets a chance to prove himself in camp this summer, though he’s fighting an uphill battle — especially if the Redskins draft a rookie.
