Redskins defensive line has strong showing on Day 3 of practices

What happens when you pit one of the best position groups for the Washington Redskins against one of the most depleted position groups on the team in training camp?

Look no further than the individual offensive vs. defensive line drills.

On Day 3 of camp for the Redskins, the defensive line — thought of as one of the strong points for the Washington roster — matched up for pass-rushing drills against a thinned out and scarce offensive front. Let’s just say that the defenders took round one, in this case.

While depth on the offensive line has been a topic of conversation during the start of training camp — on Friday Washington signed FA veteran left tackle Corey Robinson to act as a body until Trent Williams ends his holdout from the team, whenever that happens — the defensive front has consistently been a strong point for the Redskins.

It may be easy for them to look like superstars against unproven talent, but at least they have the ability to look like superstars at all.
