Redskins bring Kyshoen Jarrett into full-time role with coaching staff

Kyshoen Jarrett is now serving on a full-time basis with the Washington Redskins.

The Redskins announced today Jarrett, a coaching intern, will move to full-time status as a defensive quality control coach.

“Kyshoen was a valuable asset to our coaching staff last season,” Jay Gruden said, according to the team’s official website. “He is a quality coach and a quality person and I have complete trust in him succeeding in this new role.”

To say Jarrett is an amazing story would be an understatement. He suffered a career-ending injury during the final game of his rookie season with the Redskins and shifted to a coaching role.

Jarrett has turned a negative positive in an inspiring way and it is clear he’ll keep doing the same as he moves into a full-time role.
