Redskins 2019 schedule announced

The Washington Redskins don’t have an easy task in front of them in 2019.

This much was obvious given the problems at quarterback with only the 2019 NFL draft serving as the final possible upgrade point. But today’s release of the full 2019 schedule paints a tough picture for the Redskins.

It starts right in Week 1 on the road against the Philadephia Eagles and doesn’t let up from there, with the Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears coming to town in the following two weeks.

Fast forward to Week 5, the Redskins have to welcome Tom Brady and the New England Patriots to town.

The bye only occurs once Week 10 arrives. Then it’s right back to it with winnable games until Week 14, where a visit to the Green Bay Packers could create some problems before three NFC East games in a row to close the season.

If the Redskins want to compete next year, they will clearly have to down some great teams in bunches at the bookends of the season.
