The State Theatre Company of South Australia will stage the award-winning Australian play Red Sky Morning. Written by Australian playwright Tom Holloway, the theatre piece will be staged as part of the company’s State Umbrella program that sees one independent project staged each year.

Red Sky Morning is an intertwining of three internal monologues, telling the story of a woman, a man and a girl over the course of a day. The three voices come from one family and culminate to create a story of isolation in regional Australia. Moments are missed, dreams go unshared, as the three characters unveil their need to connect.
