Red Arrows to fly over Nottinghamshire today - here's how to see them

The famous Red Arrows will fly over parts of Nottinghamshire as they return from the 2021 Isle of Wight Festival.

The aerobatics display team, based at RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire, wowed the crowds as they opened the event on Thursday, September 16.

On Friday morning, September 17, they will be departing Bournemouth to make the journey home - and that route will take the team over parts of Nottinghamshire.

They are due to be in the area around Collingham at 10.30am.

According to the Military Airshows website, the route will also take them over areas including Newark and Balderton.

Here is the full route:

10am: Bournemouth

10.02am: North of Verwood

10.06am: North of Woolverton

10.14am: Vicinity of Radley

10.21am: Vicinity of Rushden

10.25am: North of Loddington

10.30am: Vicinity of Collingham

10.32am: Scampton
