A Lancashire recruitment company has secured a £900,000 funding package from NatWest to drive forward its growth plans.
Blackburn-based Central Recruitment, which supplies temporary staff to the industrial, engineering and commercial sector, will use the finance to support working capital as it relocates to a town centre office.
Located on Darwen Street, the 1,200 sq ft office has space for eight desks and a meeting room, enabling the team to continue to grow.
Plans are already underway to recruit an additional member of staff in April this year, bringing the team to six full-time employees.
Natalie Smith, who founded the firm in 2015, said: "After working in recruitment for a decade, I decided to take a leap of faith and open Central Recruitment in July 2015.
"We immediately opened our business bank account with NatWest and as we have grown NatWest has helped us with different facilities and advice to move the business forward.
"We have exciting plans for this year starting with our office move to Blackburn town centre.
"Our new building has a shop front to display our logo and I feel like this will really establish Central Recruitment as a brand."
The deal was delivered by Jonathan Tinsley, NatWest senior relationship manager, and John Sheridan, business development manager, Royal Bank of Scotland Invoice Finance.
Mr Sheridan added: "At NatWest, our ambition is to further support talented female entrepreneurs and provide funding to help them scale and grow their businesses.
"As the UK’s largest SME bank, we want to increase our share of lending to female founders, giving them access to essential investment and advice.
"Natalie is a passionate recruiter and the funding from NatWest will enable her to reach her next growth milestone as a business owner.
"Central Recruitment provides the local area with an unrivalled service and we look forward to supporting Natalie and her team as they move into their new offices and continue to expand."
