Visitors watch snow sculptures based on Naomi Osaka, a winner of the women's singles at the Australian Open, and Atsumaru, a mascot character of the Hokkaido town of Atsuma, which was damaged by a powerful earthquake in September, at the Sapporo Snow Festival in Odori Park, Chuo Ward, Sapporo, on Monday. The festival, featuring about 200 sculptures at three venues, is being held through Feb. 11.
