A manager of a Scots coffee shop has won a £14,000 payout after she was fired for taking her jacket with her when a fire alarm went off.

Natalia Dudenko 'singlehandedly' evacuated a 'packed' Costa store in six minutes - having to remove elderly, disabled, and unhappy customers - and grabbed her coat as it was cold and raining outside.

Hundreds carrying booze knocked by from Kelvingrove Park as Glasgow cops launch crackdown at gates

Hundreds of people who brought booze to a Glasgow park were knocked back by cops as part of a council crackdown on public drinking after coronavirus rules were relaxed.

Glasgow City Council has revealed that more than 400 'groups and individuals' were refused entry to the popular Kelvingrove Park with cops and council wardens stationed at the gates.
