Tributes paid to 'friendly' murder victim in Glasgow after brutal stabbing

A dad stabbed to death in Glasgow has been named locally as police confirmed they have launched a murder probe.

Kamil Charyszyn was found injured just yards from his home before the police pronounced him dead at the scene on Sunday.

The 35-year-old had been confronted by a group of three men and one woman before being attacked.

Nicola Sturgeon "misled" Parliament over a key aspect of the Alex Salmond debacle, a report of the Holyrood Inquiry has confirmed.

The Committee, whose findings against the First Minister leaked last week, ruled that she had given an "inaccurate" account of a meeting with her predecessor during her Government’s botched probe into him.

Teenager murdered by stalker ex-boyfriend fined £90 for 'wasting police time' after reporting him five times

A teenager desperate for help was fined by police for reporting her stalker five times before he murdered her.

Shana Grice 's murder was described as "avoidable" after police failed to take the 19-year-old's concerns seriously and instead fined her £90 for "wasting police time" on one occasion.

Bennylyn Burke's sister says her 'heart has been torn' after bodies found at Dundee home

The sister of tragic Bennylyn Burke, found dead with her daughter at a Dundee house, says her “heart has been torn by the pain”.

Shella Aquino, speaking from her home in the Philippines, said she was still finding it hard to accept the events of recent weeks.

She said: “For me it’s very painful.

“It is like my heart has been torn by the pain – I can’t stop crying. I just want to see and hug them.”

Cops probe 'racial abuse' during Rangers vs Slavia Prague clash

Cops are probing alleged 'racial abuse' during the clash between Rangers and Slavia Prague at Ibrox on Thursday.

Last night we told how Police Scotland had launched an investigation after an assault was reported at the game.

Now the force have confirmed in a statement they are also looking into 'incidents of alleged racial abuse'.
