Brit expats 'kicked out of Spain' as group ordered back onto plane to UK

A group of British expats have been kicked out of Spain just minutes after arriving under new post-Brexit rules, it has been reported.

Tourists and second-home owners now can't spend more than 90 days in the country without the correct status.

People arriving at Alicante-Elche airport on Tuesday were reportedly refused entry into Spain and were sent back on the same flight they had arrived on.

NHS workers protest in Glasgow's George Square over 4% pay rise as unions call for higher offer

Around 50 NHS workers gathered in Glasgow yesterday to protest at the Scottish Government’s four per cent pay offer.

Workers representing nurses, ambulance workers and ancillary hospital staff had a socially distanced demo in the city’s George Square and heard from a number of union representatives about why they should be rejecting the pay offer.
