A shocked motorist who ran over a stab victim lying on the road turned Good Samaritan when he stopped and rushed the man to hospital.

Salam Ibrahim, 33, was at the wheel of his VW Golf when he drove over Steven Cartwright, 35, who was lying on his back on the road at George Street, Paisley.

Scots killer who died in jail after taking drugs 'intended to take his own life'

A savage killer took his own life the day after he was “sacked” from his trusted job as a passman at a Scots prison a Fatal Accident Inquiry has found.

Evil Steven Dickie - who was serving a life sentence for the brutal murder of oil worker Steven Donaldson at a nature reserve near Kirriemuir - killed himself in his cell.

The 24-year-old had been ordered to serve at least 23 years.

Creepy Scots window cleaner targeted mum with sex texts just hours after she hired him

A married mum was left “shocked” when a creepy window cleaner sent her sexually explicit text messages.

The woman, who asked to remain anonymous, booked Peter Barnard, known as The Glasgow Window Cleaner, to help “freshen up” up her home.

Heavy snow weather warning issued as Scots braced for Easter Sunday blizzards

A weather warning for heavy snow has been issued as Scotland gets set to be battered by blizzards on Easter Sunday.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy snow to land on northern parts of the country from 6pm on Sunday evening.
