Scots couple die of coronavirus in separate hospitals just one hour apart

A couple in their 60s died of Covid-19 in separate hospitals within an hour of each other.

Graeme and Margaret Carling were both being treated for the virus in Dundee.

Their son Graeme Jr said he went “completely white” when he got a call telling him his father Graeme Sr had died at Ninewells Hospital.

A brute has been caged for a series of horror attacks on his partner - one of which burst her C-section stitches open.

Adam Gallagher, 35, pushed Charlene McGill onto a couch as she was tending to their newborn baby, causing her stitches to tear and bleed.

Scot caught with more than 200 cannabis 'gummy sweets' worth £4000

A personal trainer was caught with more than 200 packets of “gummy sweets” infused with cannabis which he bought online.

Jordie Riddell was caught with the “cannabis edibles” which prosecutors said could be worth up to £4000.

Scots could be turned away from Portugal after May 17 because of EU ban

Scots could be turned away from Portugal despite it being added to the UK’s green list for travel after May 17.

Portugal is one of 12 countries open to international travel from Scotland without the need to quarantine on return, following an announcement by the Government.
