Record-breaking EuroMillions jackpot won by lucky player

A single ticketholder in Ireland has won the record-breaking €250 million EuroMillions lottery jackpot.
The winning numbers were 13, 22, 23, 44, and 49, with lucky stars 3 and 5; players needed to match all seven numbers to win.
The Irish National Lottery confirmed the win, announcing it on X (formerly Twitter).
In addition to the jackpot winner, one UK millionaire was created through the Millionaire Maker selection with the code XPCD66044.
The jackpot was the largest EuroMillions prize ever available in the UK and Ireland, capped at €250m, and had rolled over after no one won in the previous draw.
