The Falcons got routed by the Texans during Sunday’s 53-32 loss in Houston. So far in 2019, Atlanta is one of the worst defensive teams in franchise history and can’t seem to get anything right on that side of the ball. This team doesn’t have a shot at winning many more games this season based on how they’ve played through five weeks on defense.
The special teams unit was atrocious against the Texans too. There weren’t really any bright spots and even one of the few in this game, Grady Jarrett, didn’t make the kind of impact he could have. The consistently soft zone defense allowed Deshaun Watson and the Texans to score a ton of points and allowed over 500 total yards.
Atlanta’s entire coaching staff could get fired soon.
