Drunk driving remains a serious epidemic throughout Thailand, but the stories behind those who are affected from such atrocities shed light on the drastic impact it has on numerous lives.

According to the Probation Department, over 90% of traffic offences are related to drunk driving.

With various government agencies tightening road safety measures, the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) revealed that almost 200,000 people were arrested for drunk driving during the recent Songkran holidays.
