Bartenders of Glasgow have the chance to get their name in the mix for an out of this world competition.
Rebel Yell, the handcrafted Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey, is searching for the UK’s best bourbon bartender, with the chance to win a visit to its state-of-the-art distillery on the Bourbon Trail during the Kentucky Bourbon Festival in September.
A regional semi-final will take place in McPhabbs at the end of the month, with the winner going on to pit their talents against the best in the north and south of England at a Bourbon Battle in London on June 17.
The successful candidate will then head to Lux Row Distillers in Kentucky for the global competition final on September 19, where the overall winner will walk away with a once-in-a-lifetime grand prize of hand-selecting a Rebel Yell barrel to take home (equivalent to 60 x bottles) with the firm's master blender and dead distiller.

Budding bartenders of Scotland with high hopes for rebellion success need to submit a ‘Lucky 7s’ combination – a Rebel Yell-based cocktail using no more than seven ingredients and taking no longer than seven minutes to make.
Entrants must complete their entry at www.rebelyellbourbonbattle.com by Sunday, May 12.
A winner will be chosen from each of the regional semi-finals.
