Rebel Wilson shows slim figure in wetsuit as she goes surfing after losing 3 stone

Rebel Wilson has lost an impressive three stone in recent months and she's not shy about showing off her new figure.

The Pitch Perfect actress, 40, documented her first ever surfing lesson on her Instagram account on Tuesday and she looked almost unrecognisable.

Donning a black bikini top and a skintight wetsuit, Rebel oozed body confidence as she rode the waves for the first time.

A video shared by a friend even showed her managing to stand up on the surfboard as the waves came in.

In the first photo she shared she and a group of friends posed next to their boards with the bright blue sea behind them.

Rebel had pulled her wetsuit down and tied it around her waist, revealing her toned arms.

She sported a baseball cap and a pair of slider sandals as she held on to her pink surfboard.

Her hair was tied up in a plait that was worn on the side of her head.

In the next few photos she had pulled up her wetsuit and did a few poses for the camera with her pals.

Rebel captioned the post: "First ever surf lesson in Malibu.

"Thanks to my 'BU crew for having my back and teaching me the way of the waves x."

At the start of 2020 Rebel pledged it would be her "year of health".

She is now working out every day to maintain her new figure.

Chatting to an Australian radio station, she said: "Obviously a lot of the TV shows and movies got shut down, so what I was going to do has been delayed so I'm just getting ripped.

She joked around with her pals on the beach (Instagram)

"I'm exercising every day.

"You've got to get on the bandwagon on being ripped.

"I was actually doing all this outdoor stuff like running up and down the Sydney Opera House stairs."
