Rebel Wilson reaches her goal weight with one month to spare in 'year of health'

Rebel Wilson says she's reached her goal weight with one month to spare after vowing that 2020 would be her "year of health".

The Pitch Perfect star, 40, is looking incredible after switching up her diet and exercise regime to lose around 20kg.

She's now reached her goal weight of 75kg, which is 11.8 stone.

The Australian actress proudly announced her achievement on her Instagram Stories by sharing a picture of a scale that read 74.6.

She confessed that while her weight loss journey hasn't been purely about the numbers, she wanted a "tangible measurement" to keep herself motivated along the way.

She wrote on her post: "Hit my goal with one month to spare! Even though it's not about a weight number, it's about being healthy, I needed a tangible measurement to have as a goal and that was 75 kg's."

The actress went on to thank her fans for supporting her throughout her journey.

She penned: "I wanna go live on Insta on Tuesday night when I'm back in [the] U.S. to share stuff with you guys and thank everyone for their support. Sooo until then... 6pm NYC time"

Rebel has detailed her journey in a series of stunning pictures on Instagram, making sure her fans have been in the loop every step of the way.

And she's shared tips with her followers about how she's kept herself motivated.

She recently showed off her toned torso by posing up in a sports bra, writing: "Started off having a bad day but took myself on a giant walk, listening to some motivational podcasts & audiobooks (currently @antmiddleton The Fear Bubble) out in gorgeous nature...drank water...and you know what feel soooo much better now. We all have tough days but take a beat, take a nap and then get back out there and continue to crush"

Rebel also recently opened up about her bad eating habits before she overhauled her lifestyle.

She told People that her relationship with food prompted her to rethink things.

She said: "Before I was probably eating 3,000 calories most days, and because they were normally carbs, I would still be hungry."

She added: "So, I've really changed to eating a high-protein diet, which is challenging because I didn't used to eat a lot of meat.

"I eat fish, salmon, and chicken breast."
