"I really do get to live out my BRING IT ON dreams in this movie!" Rebel said, referencing the 2000 film.

In another picture of her with the entire team, she posted: "Yeah, Yeah. We fight to the finish. We’re in it, to win it!"

According to the synopsis, Senior Year is about a 37-year-old woman who wakes up from a 20-year coma and returns to the high school where she was once a popular cheerleader.

It also stars Clueless star Alicia Silverstone, This Is Us' Justin Hartley, Angourie Rice and Chris Parnell.

The 41-year-old actress has documented her journey over the last two years, during which she revealed that she has had an impressive 60-pound weight loss.

Her routine meant she had to cut out sugar, alcohol and caffeine.

Rebel, who splits her time between Sydney and L.A., has described 2020 as her ‘year of health’.

In an interview with InStyle, Rebel said: “Now that I know I can do it, sometimes I feel sad that I didn’t do it earlier.

“Maybe I should have tried when I was 30, not 40. But everybody’s journey is different, and it’s not a race or competition.”

In 2020, Rebel made the new year’s resolution to reach a target weight of 165 pounds.

Part of her method to improve her health was to go to the gym more often and to "avoid sugar and junk food."
