Rebel Wilson is looking for love in London and planning to move to the UK

Rebel Wilson is relocating to the UK and looking for love – six months after splitting up from her billionaire boyfriend.

The 41-year-old Hollywood star has snapped up a mansion in the capital and says she is open to welcoming a British man into her personal life.

Rebel – who is originally from Australia – is planning to spend more time away from Los Angeles and in the UK after falling for the country after filming projects in England and Wales.

The Pitch Perfect actress says she is still trying to find the right man for her after she broke up with 30-year-old Jacob Busch – who is heir to the Anheuser-Busch business which owns drinks brands inclusion Budweiser and Stella Artois – earlier this year.

She is quoted by The Sun saying: “I love England. I’ve bought a place in London so I’m sure I’ll be spending a lot more time there in future.

“I am someone who is established in my career so is definitely on the hunt for love – but it has to be the right person.

“I give it a go, I put myself out there. I’ve definitely been trying to open my heart and find someone amazing.

"I’ve definitely found some amazing people, it just hasn’t been totally right. I’m still on the hunt.”

Rebel recently hinted she has babies on her mind as she opened up about her plans to have a child of her own.

The star has wowed fans over the past year and a half be losing almost five stone in weight – and said she was partially inspired to commence a fitness journey in order to improve her chances of getting pregnant.

She said in an Instagram Live chat: "When I was going through and looking into fertility stuff, the doctor was like, 'Well, you'd have a much better chance if you were healthier.

"I was actually a bit offended. I thought that even though I was bigger, I was pretty healthy.

"So that's what started it—that if I lost some excess weight, it would give me a better chance of freezing eggs and having better quality eggs."

The star changed up her lifestyle to include healthier meals and more exercise after being made aware that a higher BMI could wreak havoc on her pregnancy chances.

She said: "At first it wasn't even for myself, it was thinking of a future mini-me and their quality. That's what kick-started it."

While Rebel has previously hinted that she regrets not adopting her new-found lifestyle earlier in her life.

She told InStyle: "Now that I know I can do it, sometimes I feel sad that I didn’t do it earlier.

“Maybe I should have tried when I was 30, not 40. But everybody’s journey is different, and it’s not a race or competition.”

However, she is also a fan of allowing treats in moderation.

In April, she posted a picture of herself out walking during a UK visit, adding: "Strolling through the English countryside after a fresh piece of lemon drizzle cake! Oh yeah!!!"
