Rebekah Vardy's Wagatha Christie feud with Coleen Rooney ‘could be resolved soon’

Rebekah Vardy reckons her Wagatha Christie court fight with Coleen Rooney could "potentially" be settled soon.

The Dancing on Ice star, 38, is suing Coleen, 34, for libel after being accused of leaking "false stories" about her private life.

But she said: "The new year could potentially see a resolution between us. I'm sure the public are sick of reading about it too."

Rebekah, the wife of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, 33, won the first round of the legal battle last month.

A judge ruled Coleen, married to ex-Man United ace Wayne Rooney, 35, had "clearly identified" her in a post about alleged story leaks from her personal Instagram account.

Coleen was ordered to pay Rebekah's legal costs of £23,000 for the preliminary hearing.

The initial argument was over the wording of a post Coleen made, reading: "I have saved and screenshotted all the original stories which clearly show just one person has viewed them. It's... Rebekah Vardy's account."

The court heard the pair agreed to delay further proceedings until February in "a final attempt to solve the matter without a full trial".

Meanwhile, Rebekah is enjoying training for ITV's Dancing On Ice, which starts in the new year.

She was snapped earlier this month arriving for rehearsals in an elf outfit.

Rebekah said: "I'm loving every minute of it. When I'm on the ice I feel exhilarated and as free as a bird."

And Rebekah, who was speaking to Hello! magazine, said she is determined to enjoy Christmas with her kids after her own experiences growing up.

She said: "My family were Jehovah's Witnesses. I wasn't allowed to celebrate Christmas.

"I feel like I missed out on so many precious times. That's why I go crazy with decorations now.

"I want to do everything I couldn't do when I was younger.”
