Rebekah Vardy reveals vile message from troll about her pregnancy after Coleen Rooney accusation

Rebekah Vardy has revealed the extent of online abuse she has received since Coleen Rooney accused her of ‘selling stories’.

The wife of footballer Jamie posted perhaps the worst of the comments sent to her on Instagram which made a vile comment about her unborn baby.

On Wednesday Coleen accused Rebekah of leaking stories to The Sun newspaper using her private Instagram account.

Rebekah, pregnant with her fifth child, denied the claims saying she never speaks to the press about the Rooneys and suggested her account was ‘hacked’.

In a statement which she shared on social media, Becky said: "I liked you a lot Coleen & I'm so upset that you have chosen to do this, especially when I'm heavily pregnant.”

But Coleen, who released a brief statement this morning, appears to be having none of it.

Her spokesman said: "It is irrefutable that the leaks came from one account, and one account only."

In the fallout following the explosive claims Rebekah shared some of the horrific abuse she had received from trolls.

Rebekah posted one particular message, and her response, on her Instagram Story.

The message said: “F**k u dirty sly c*** I hope that baby dies within you B***H.”

Outing the person who sent the message by screenshotting their username with the comment, Rebekah’s reply was simply “....well played.”

Yesterday the Manchester Evening News published photos of mum-of-four Coleen walking around Alderley Edge glued to her mobile phone shortly after she had posted her accusation.

The wife of former Manchester United player Wayne Rooney was grinning as she scrolled through the content of her screen while popping to Costa Coffee and a cash machine.

In her accusation, which she posted on Twitter and Instagram, she claims that after five months she had worked out who had been selling the stories by blocking everyone’s account but Rebekah’s.

She added alongside the statement: “This has been a burden in my life for a few years now and finally I have got to the bottom of it.”
