Rebekah Vardy has joked Coleen Rooney did her "a favour" by sparking the so-called Wagatha Christie court case.
A source close to the WAG, set to make her Dancing On Ice debut this weekend, told Closer magazine that while fighting the accusations was "an awful experience for Rebekah... Coleen may have done her a favour in the long run by keeping her so firmly in the spotlight."
They explained that the 38-year-old had landed her "dream gig" thanks to her increased public profile following Coleen's accusations that a friend had been leaking stories about her to the press.
In a 2019 Instagram post Coleen revealed she had planted fake stories that only one other Instagram account could view, before finishing with the words: "It's Rebekah Vardy's account."

Becky, who is married to Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, strongly denies the claims and is suing Coleen, 34, for libel.
The source continued: "She's joking that she's now really grateful to Coleen and has forgiven her, because when Rebekah proves she didn't betray her, the public will see she's been misjudged this whole time.

"Hopefully it will be resolved when she's on the show, so people will be able to see the real her, a kindhearted mum of five, and not the villain she's made out to be."
Rebekah won the first round of the legal battle in November when a judge ruled Coleen, married to ex-Man United ace Wayne Rooney, 35, had "clearly identified" Rebekah in a post about alleged story leaks from her personal Instagram account.

But she has hinted the pair could soon resolve their issue, saying recently: "The new year could potentially see a resolution between us. I'm sure the public are sick of reading about it too."
