Rebekah Vardy has 'already launched' legal action against Coleen Rooney over WAG wars

Rebekah Vardy has already launched legal action against Coleen Rooney over this week's WAG wars, according to pal Nicola McLean.

In a sensational move on Wednesday, Coleen, 33, announced to the world via her social media that Rebekah, 37, was the source of a number of leaks from her private Instagram .

Rebekah denied being responsible and a source told The Sun that she "is prepared to see Coleen in court if necessary," as she looks to clear her name.

Fellow WAG Nicola, who is a close friend of Jamie Vardy's wife, has now insisted Rebekah wasn't joking and has already got the ball rolling on the legal action.

During an appearance on talkRADIO, Nicola, who is married to footballer Tom Williams, explained: "Yes I do think she will go legal.

Nicola went on to urge Coleen to lay off Rebekah, who is currently heavily pregnant, as the stress is not good for her.

She added: "Coleen knows what she's doing. She knows what she’s doing by putting that statement out on Twitter , she knew what was going to happen to Becky and she’s sitting back and letting it happen.

“She’s not the one writing these tweets but really she is to blame and she should come out and say it needs to stop.

"We’re talking about a woman who is seven months pregnant. It’s not proven. ‘Wagatha Christie’ proved it was from Rebekah’s account - not from Rebekah."

Rebekah denied it was her who leaked information from Coleen's private Instagram after the WAG pointed the finger.

Jamie's wife insisted there are many people who have access to her account and could have leaked the information without her knowledge.
