Rebekah Vardy 'building luxury stables at £3million home' after losing Wagatha case

Rebekah Vardy may have lost the war of the WAGs but she’s reportedly won a battle with planners to build luxury stables at her £3million Lincolnshire farmhouse – but there’s one big condition.

The former I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star, 40, and her footballer husband Jamie, 35, have been given the green light to begin the transformation of an agricultural paddock on their property, just days after losing the Wagatha Christie saga.

The couple applied for change-of-use permission to put luxury stables and a grazing paddock on the piece of land in the grounds of their eight-bedroom house, according to the application seen by the Sun.

But planning officers have reportedly given permission with a warning not to run the stables as a commercial business and to keep it for private use only, meaning they can’t make any money from them.

In documents seen by the publication, planners said: "The development hereby approved shall be operated on a private basis only, in association with the dwelling, and should not be operated as a commercial venture.

"Planning permission has been granted on the basis of being served as a private ménage.

"Comments have also been received with regard to the need to make a provision for the storage and removal of horse manure from the equestrian activities.

"As the site is to be used solely for private purposes, the extent of its use is not considered to be extensive, and it is considered that details by way of condition are not required in this instance."

Their latest add on comes after Rebekah and Jamie previously received permission to add an extension to their Grade II listed home.

The vast property already has a tennis court, bar, gym, cinema, indoor swimming pool and sauna.

And now the Vardy's will be adding the 78ft-long stables to the list, for keen rider Rebekah to enjoy.

Her addition comes after she lost her libel case against former pal Coleen Rooney , in which she was accused of leaking "false stories" to the press.

The mum-of-five still vehemently denies the claims which has left her with a reported £3 million to be paid in legal fees.

And she made her feelings known in an explosive interview last week with TalkTV.

Speaking to presenter Kate McCann, the WAG made a number of bombshell revelations throughout the chat and even broke down in tears at one point as she thanked her husband for his support throughout the case.

She also slammed the judge for "not understanding the case", saying: "I'm really disappointed. I didn't really expect it to go that way, but I think we had a judge who didn't understand the case and didn't look at everything.

"It feels like the judge just read what was written in the media and took on the narrative bias."

She also responded to the judge's ruling, where Mrs Justice Steyn said the WAG "clearly" knew of, condoned and engaged in leaking information to the press through her agent Caroline Watt.
