Rebekah Vardy broke down in tears on Loose Women today when discussing the Coleen Rooney scandal.
In an exclusive interview on the popular ITV daytime show, Rebekah discussed the impact the scandal has had on her mental health.
The 37-year-old footballer's wife blamed the scandal for hospitalising her three times while pregnant, the Mirror Online reports.
Last year, Coleen accused Becky of selling stories about her private life to the press in an Instagram post. Rebekah has strongly denied the allegations and any wrongdoing.
Coleen claimed Rebekah's Instagram account was the source of the leaks.
Despite giving birth to her fifth child Olivia in December last year, Rebekah admitted the trolling and online abuse resulted in her suffering from severe anxiety attacks.
Tearful Becky explained: "I had severe anxiety attacks. I ended up in hospital three times. I had kidney stones. I felt I couldn't go out without people questioning if I did it.
“I had people messaging me saying nasty stuff, one ‘ you fat, ugly rat, I really hope you and your baby rot’.
"It was really, really hard. It's probably up there with one of the worst things I've ever had to deal with."
Rebekah revealed to the Loose Women panel that she first found out about Coleen's accusations when she was on holiday in Dubai with her husband Jamie Vardy.
Rebekah admitted she couldn’t say too much because they were in the middle of a legal battle.
As a result, Loose Women viewers were quick to jump on social media and brand the interview "pointless".
One Twitter user wrote: If Rebekah Vardy can’t talk about the Coleen Rooney thing what’s the point of her coming on? Wouldn’t it be better to keep a dignified silence whilst it’s with the lawyers? #LooseWomen
Another added: "Imagine I just waited 45 minutes to hear what Rebekah Vardy had to say about Coleen Rooney, only for her to say in the first minute, "there's very little I can say about it".
A third said: "This Rebekah Vardy interview is absolutely pointless. I need all the gossip and drama #LooseWomen"
"Well, that #loosewomen interview was a complete waste of time. Learnt nothing new there, so what was the point of #rebekahvardy being there?" argued a fourth.
