Rebekah Vardy has given birth to a baby girl, her third child with football star husband Jamie.
Her husband's manager, Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers, told a press conference that Jamie was not playing for Leicester on Saturday as the child had been born.
"Jamie Vardy’s wife had a child today, so he’s with her and congratulations to them," he said.
The striker later posted the news on Twitter and spoke of his delight at the "beautiful" new arrival.
He said: "Over the moon to let you know our beautiful little girl has arrived.
"Becky and baby are both doing well and we are all totally in love with the newest member of our team."
Mrs Vardy retweeted the post.
Their new daughter is Mrs Vardy's fifth child.
