Rebecca dumped from Love Island as ex-Miss Newcastle and Jordan are voted off

It's the end of the Love Island road for Geordie girl Rebecca Gormley after she was dumped from the villa alongside recent love interest Jordan Waobikeze on Monday night.

Three weeks have passed since the ex-Miss Newcastle winner strutted onto the ITV2 show and caused a right stir within seconds of making her entrance, before putting the other girls' noses out of joint by going on dates with Connor and Callum.

Then came her huge spat with Siannise after the 21-year-old decided to couple up with Luke T, knowing Siannise liked him. Since then, Rebecca has largely flown under the radar, although romance looked like it could be on the cards after new boy Jordan entered the main villa as part of this series' Casa Amor twist, with the two swiftly sharing a kiss.

Love Island viewers clearly weren't convinced though as it was revealed to Rebecca and Jordan by text that they would need to pack their packs after finishing bottom of the latest public vote.

Speaking about her dramatic arrival into the villa during the Dirty Dancing task, Rebecca said "It was so exciting. It was nerve-wracking but knowing I was going in, having that entrance, it made me feel mint! To go in and see the boys and to perform a dance, who wouldn’t want to have an entrance like that?

"I made a point of getting to know all the boys at first because I thought, I need to give everyone a chance, I didn’t want to cut anyone off. Potentially I could have a friendship out of it if it’s not a relationship, so it wasn’t fair to cut anyone off."

And then summarising her time in the villa, Rebecca added "I loved every minute of it. It was just constant belly laughing. One thing I can say about Love Island, the full team - the Islanders and everyone that was helping with the cast - everyone was amazing.

"There was never a point where I thought they didn't care. Everyone was so considerate of how you felt."
